Announcement by the Hungarian National Tourist Office for participation at foreign travel trade exhibitions in 2010
In 2010 Hungarian National Tourist Office will participate with a new design at foreign exhibitions, in three categories:

1. A central stand, organized by HNTO Head Office, at the highest-ranking tourist fairs (10 exhibitions) featuring the markets of the most important source countries. Co-exhibitors may sign up at HNTO Head Office, Promotions. The exhibition stands will be constructed (except ACTB, JATA and CITM fairs) by a winning tender for exhibition execution within a public procurement framework. The design is implemented in line with the corporate identity for exhibitions, it is unique, elegant and modern, contemporary both in function and appearance. The stands will be coloured with a variety of attractions. There is no option for decoration of stands by exhibitors. The Hungarian stand will cover an area of between 100-300m2.

2. We appear at a further 19 important travel trade exhibitions through one of our representative offices. Our participation is co-ordinated by the relevant foreign representation of the Hungarian National Tourist Office. Service providers should register with the Promotions Directorate, which will forward forms to the relevant foreign representation. Confirmation and further contact will be with the representative. Depending upon size, the exhibition stands will either be constructed by tender-winning exhibition-building companies through public procurement, or hired from the fair organisers as uniformly decorated stands.

3. The foreign representations of the Hungarian National Tourist Office will also independently participate in fairs that they deem important. These exhibitions are usually events with a smaller, more regional attraction. The representative offices will appear through mobile installations in a smaller Hungarian stand an area of 9-20 m2. Service providers can primarily represent themselves via prospectuses, but there is an option for personal participation at some of these fairs. Once again, tourist services should register with the Promotions Directorate, which will forward their forms to the relevant foreign representative office. Acknowledgement of receipt and further contact will be maintained through the representatives.
