Best restaurants in Hungary
The famous french restaurant critics finally explored Hungary's restaurants and published the first Hungarian Gault&Millau guide.
The Gault&Millau is a world famous french restaurant guide published in several European country. Critics visit a lot of restaurants and testing them from the food, throught the ambience to the wines they offer. Each restaurant gets points from 0 up to 20 (but the world best restaurants have 19 or 19,5 points, so 20 is unobtainable). The restaurants above 13 points get chef hats.
The Gault&Millau tested 329 restaurants, 110 wineries and 407 hotels in Hungary. They found out the best two restaurants in Hungary are the Costes and Onyx (both 17 points = 3 hats) which also have Michelin stars.
