Hagymatikum: wellness complex opened in Makó
Brand new wellness complex opened in January 2012, the Hagymatikum. The town of Makó now became the next important spa center in Hungary. Here comes the details:

The small town of Makó is in the southern part of Hungary, next to Szeged. The new wellness complex instantly became the symbol of the town, designed by the famous Hungarian architect Imre Makovecz.
The spa complex consists four main building, each with unique design and function. The bath based on the thermal water of Makó and the curative mud of river Maros.
The wellness center has 800 square meter water surface and the largest sauna section in the country. Beside these it's important to mention the medical wellness section which is also one of the bests among Hungarian spas. The Hagymatikum awaits you with outdoor and indoor thermal pools, medicinal pools, weightbath, children's pool, changing-rooms and restaurant.
The main building is not just the hall of the spa but a tourist attraction itself with its small domes, round forms, and wooden structure.
