Chocolate and confectionary festival
Plan a trip up to the Buda Castle on 20-23 September, 2012 and meet the top products of Hungary's confectionery industry. The Sweet Days of the last year proved that those who visit the Sweet Days Budapest would be in a good company, while admiring one of most beautiful panoramas of Europe and enjoying the best sweets and drinks.

The organizers - in addition to the chocolate, candy and other goody shows - are working to make the four-day festival held in the Castle even more attractive, with diverse family programs and convenience services. For example a separate complimentary “Sweet Days bus” will run on the Clark Ádám tér - Budai Vár - Dózsa György tér - Alagút route. Of course, we do not exclusively expect those with a sweet-tooth for this weekend. Therefore, elegant cocktails, champagne and wine bars will open at various sites in the festival area and, just like last year, evenings will be spent listening to funky, soul and jazz concerts, all the while, enjoying great food and drinks.
During the day, beyond the trade workshops, periodically courses will be held presenting the basics of making artisan chocolate and truffles and visitors can attend presentations of the gurus of the profession attended by famous producers and experts. A spectacular chocolate sculpture will be made in the National Gallery, which is not only for viewing, but on Sunday evening the visitors can even devour it! Once again this year the Chocolate Queen will be elected within the framework of the festival. In the National Gallery children programs will expect the families and tickets for the Sweet Days are also valid for the permanent exhibitions of the Gallery. In the afternoons small musical ensembles will entertain the audience by playing pleasant street jazz at several festival locations.
